A honest Ian Bell just got interviewed on TMS during the lunch of the second Test between England and Pakistan at Edgbaston.
He was really honest. Each and every question from Jonathan Agnew got a honest answer from Bell.
No honestly, almost every sentence began and ended with a heartfelt “to be honest”. Some even got a “to be honest” midway an answer. Just in case we missed he was being honest with us.
Now I have nothing against Bell and I think he is a good batsman and does a decent job for England, but honestly, I hardly heard anything he said due to all the “honestly”, “to be honest” and “to be honest with you” he threw at us.
