What do you think? An impressive bunch, are they not?

Well, off course you don’t agree, so let me know how wrong I am and post your own all-time XI in the comments. ;)

Are there any rules? Just one. I only choose between players who are active Twitterers. That’s all. Every player who has not posted a Tweet in the last month or so is no longer available for the Twitter all-time XI.

Everybody clear on that? Right, now give me your elevens!

  1. Uhmmm..I’d be glad with some more criteria, like quality of tweets! And under this Graeme Smith, Tendulkar (I’m going to get bashed for this) and Sehwag would drop out.
    Oeps, zoveel kritiek! :)

  2. Nice! But Bouch and Steyner are not from England… (not yet, that is :P )
Also, @iainobrien is probably the most talkative of all (ex) Test cricketers, I terms of tweet quality he should definitely be in it.
Sunny I think Graeme Smith’s tweets are interesting… at least not as annoying as those of certain other Saffas. But you are right, I can’t remember a single Morne tweet :/
The Windie cricketers should be in it, always funny and enjoyable. Nathan Bracken is boring as toast but always very kind.

    Cheers,
    Wes

  3. @Sunny, quality of tweets … Now that probably means I also have to leave Swann out? ;)
I doubt I could get an eleven together using that as a criteria ;)

Good point about Morkel en Steyn, they are perhaps not yet qualified to be on the list, being so new on Twitter.

So we’ll have one more criteria for selection: must be active on Twitter for at least six months.

That means back to the drawing table for me .. ;)
