I have said it before, and most other bloggers, journalists and pundits seem to agree on this, Test cricket is the best form of the game. However, as has also been discussed earlier, the success of Twenty20 and a declining interest in Test cricket suggest a lot of people do not agree.

The best form of cricket is?online surveys
Hardly representative, I know, but I am just really curious about how you, reader of this blog, feel about this.

Uhmm…to be honest, I like the ODI format the most- in case of watching at least.
I like Tests, but I just don’t have the time of watching them; I gather a few highlights or watch a few sessions and the rest of updates I get from Cricinfo.
T20s are fine in terms of producing interesting finishes.
In short, I think any game where the competition between bat and ball is good is the best one. So no definite format.
Sunny, you must be one of the last Mohicans who still prefers ODI’s above the other two formats .. ;P
Myself, I’d rather watch a Test match than an ODI or Twenty20. But given the choice between the two limited overs formats, I think I’m with you and pick an ODI.
What the 50 overs-game has that Twenty20 lacks is time. And time is needed to create those momentum shifting batting partnerships or a suffocating bowling tandem which stalls a promising runchase; in short, the so called eb and flow that is so typical of cricket.
