About

So what is this blog all about?

Well, this is a blog about cricket, but you probably figured that much out all one your own.

What does this blog offer that I won’t find elsewhere?

As it turns out, there is one thing which makes this blog stand out:

  1. It is Dutch, and not many blogs on cricket are.

  1. First of all: good luck! The more that is written about this great game in the Netherlands, the better. I suppose you want it to become an internationally read blog, which is why you’re writing it in English. Though Dutch, I shall oblige. And I look forward to reading regular postings and, hopefully, nice cricket video’s.
But, if I may ask: why does the subject has to be ‘cricket and new media,’ since there is so little to write about. Why pick such a niche? Why not about cricket. Dot. That would certainly cover all sorts of media anyway, from ‘old’ through to new …
PS After almost a year, shame on me, I still haven’t gotten ’round to playing ‘Ashes Cricket 2009′ on my Wii, but this new blog just served as a good reminder, thanks ;-) I have uploaded an Indian cricket (playing) app on my iPhone and iPad and getting used to playing it, though.

  2. Thanks Michael, and feel free to comment in Dutch, I really don’t mind. :)

New media … well you got me there.

When I reignited this blog, I had a bunch of posts on cricket and new media in mind. Twitter, Facebook, apps for iPhone, and so on. I thought I had more than enough to write about.

But the niche never really blossomed, and this is now just another general cricket blog. :)

Let me know if cricket on the Wii is any good!
