Not that they are wrong, are they?
Watching England collapse earlier today I suddenly remembered an old post on The Corridor (Will Luke’s blog) which had this tremendous photo (taken by Sean) in it.
On days like today, bowlers must be feeling as if they are lining up behind such a sign, watching as the new batsman walks out to the crease.
It must be a great feeling.
A great photograph of hundreds of cricket bats piled up along a road in India.
Watch it in its full glory on Flickr.

Check out this beautiful set of photos on Flickr, made by Australian artist Mimmo Cozzolino:
I found these cricket balls when I went for a walk after a grass fire near a cricket ground. They would have been lost during games in the tall grass surrounding the ground. The heat of the grassfires destroyed them in varying degrees, a little like what happens to some seeds after a bush fire: they open up and germinate.
The result is stunning, isn’t it?
